| Details | Featured speakers are scheduled to be John Ashcroft, former Attorney General of the United States, and Kris Kobach. Kris Kobach is a 43 year old Professor Law at UMKC. He was counsel to U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft, U.S. Justice Department, 2001 - 2003 and served as the Attorney General's chief adviser on immigration law and border security. He is a constitutional attorney who helps defend cities and states that fight illegal immigration against ACLU lawsuits. He is a co-author of the Arizona immigration law that the current administration has chosen to deamonize for political gain. He is currently running for Secretary of State for the State of Kansas and will be a good complement to John Ashcroft as they both share the podium. Tickets can be attained through members of the 7th District MRA and/or right here on this page. Online tickets may only be purchased until 6 September! A roundtable reception with John Ashcroft and Kris Kobach precedes the Dinner Symposium. By attending this you will get to personally meet each of our featured speakers!
